As a recommended wedding photographer for the RAD group, the Lochside House Hotel Lodges and Spa is one of my favourite venues from their group. The RAD group always has great staff at every one of their venues and the Lochside Hotel is no exception. 

Lochside House Hotel was built in the late 19th century by the Marquis of Bute and used as a shooting lodge. It was later acquired by Robert and Vivien Kyle in 1999 and has been extensively extended and refurbished to achieve a Four star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board.

Lochside House Hotel is a beautiful and luxurious venue for weddings. The hotel is set in 20 acres of land with views of the Loch of the Lowes and surrounding Ayrshire countryside. The hotel offers a variety of wedding packages to suit different budgets and requirements.  The Lochside House Hotel Lodges and Spa is now considered one of the most popular wedding venues in and around Ayrshire to get married in. 

The hotel has a number of stunning rooms and suites that can be used for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The hotel also has a number of luxury spa facilities, which can be used by the bride and groom and their wedding guests.

For an extra fee, the magnificent Glen Caol Suite at Lochside House Hotel is available for your wedding ceremony.

In the elegantly constructed Glen Caol Suite, with its floor to ceiling windows, with a view of Loch of the Lowes,  gorgeous chandeliers, and impressive furnishings, exchange your vows while admiring the stunning views. It is a perfect setting to capture those memories. 

For your wedding meal you have a choice of either the Lochview or Glen Cáol function suite which can cater for up to 220 guests both with beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding Ayrshire.  They then have a beautiful lounge where guests can mingle while the staff turn the function room round. Guests also have access to the garden and patio area which includes a lovely flower arch which makes a great stop to take those group and friend photos.

The Lodges are a self-catering that are perfect for families or groups of friends. They are  located on the banks of the Loch of the Lowes, and it offers stunning views of the water accommodating from 2-18 guests
