Am I free to print my image? Of course! I recommend upgrading to the high res digital so you can print it off any size you like.

Do you have a shop?  No, I have a wee garden studio out my back door in Kilmarnock.

Do I need to tell you the design I would like there and then? Preferably yes, this means I can start editing your images straight away.

Can I get more than one design?  Yes you can but there is an additional editing fee of £40

How do I pay for the extra Iris’ and edit? After your appointment I will send you an invoice with the extra, edits don’t start until the payment is received.

Iris Art

Did you know? Just like fingerprints, each person’s iris has a distinct and unique pattern. The intricate lines, shapes, and colours in the iris create a personalised and one-of-a-kind visual signature. Photographing your eyes allows you to appreciate and showcase this natural and beautiful uniqueness.

Window to the Soul: The eyes are often referred to as the “window to the soul.” They convey emotions, experiences, and personality. A well-crafted eye photograph can capture the depth and stories reflected in your eyes, providing a powerful and intimate glimpse into your inner world.

Memories and Timeless Portraits: Eye photography can serve as timeless portraits that transcend the limitations of fashion trends or external appearances. Your eyes capture the essence of who you are at a particular moment in time. As the years pass, these photographs become valuable mementos, preserving memories and emotion, great for something different for families.

Artistic Expression: The eyes offer a canvas for artistic expression. Photographers can experiment with lighting, composition, and post-processing techniques to create visually stunning and evocative images. Eye photography provides a unique opportunity for both the photographer and the subject to explore creativity.

Eye photography is a wonderful way to celebrate and cherish the individuality of your eyes. It’s not just about capturing a physical feature; it’s about preserving a part of your identity and creating art that tells a personal and meaningful story.

Green Eyes

**The Mystery of Green Eyes in Iris Photography:**

It’s a common misconception that green eyes will automatically appear vividly green in Iris Photography. In reality, the art of capturing eyes goes beyond a simple reproduction of colours. The unique technique I employ focuses on revealing the intricate details and stories within your eyes rather than emphasizing specific eye colours.

During an Iris Photography session, the goal is to showcase the essence and individuality of each gaze. This involves using specialised lighting to bring out the depth and soulful reflections present in the eyes. As a result, the colours may not always replicate the exact shade seen in natural light.

So, if you have mesmerizing green eyes, rest assured that my approach will highlight the beauty and uniqueness of your gaze, even if the colour representation may not be as straightforward as you might expect. The magic lies in the storytelling captured within your eyes, transcending the limitations of conventional colour reproduction.

Embrace the enchantment of Iris Photography, where the focus is on the stories within your gaze rather than the exact hue of your eyes.

Please note it requires shining a bright light into your eye.
